As you are probably aware, The Inn at Little Washington will be celebrating our 40th Anniversary this year with a series of exciting events. It’s hard to believe that four colorful decades have gone by so quickly. We can’t thank you enough for your patronage and support during “The First 40 Year Journey”.
The premiere celebration will be held at George Washington’s Mount Vernon on June 16th. Before sending out a general announcement to the public we wanted to allow friends of the Inn to have a special opportunity to secure seats for the dinner as we are sensing a great deal of interest in this unique event. As loyal guests of The Inn we would be thrilled if you were able to join us for this once in a life time moment in history.
Later in the season we will be hosting a culinary street festival here in Little Washington called Innstock on September 2nd. Thirty of the Inn’s former sous chefs will be invited back for a reunion to cook for the public as we channel the 1969 Woodstock Festival complete with concerts, glamping and fireworks.
The Finale will take place on September 30th at Vaux le Vicomte, the greatest house ever built outside Paris. Inspired by a party given at the Chateau for King Louis XIV in the 1600s we will recreate the mood and ambiance of his radiant era for just 150 guests.
